99Papers.org is excited to be on the ground in St. Louis as we expand our program to impact more teachers and classrooms in the Gateway City!
Our outreach in St. Louis has been a direct result of the involvement of Maxine Clark, CEO of Build-A-Bear Workshop. Maxine learned about 99Papers.org when she received a 99Papers.org Giving Card in the mail from Crate & Barrel, one of our fantastic corporate partners. She eagerly went to our website, redeemed her Giving Card (even adding a donation of her own), and had such a positive experience she wanted to learn more. After meeting with Charles, our founder, and our Central States staff, Maxine knew that 99Papers.org could have an enormous impact in St. Louis Public Schools.
Thanks to Maxine and our contacts in St. Louis Public Schools, we have officially expanded our program efforts in the city. Most recently our staff had the opportunity to strategize with SLPS district and union leaders, present to principals, and meet with local foundations and business leaders, including the St. Louis Business Journal. We are working hard to engage local foundations and corporations to start supporting classroom projects this fall.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates about our growth in St. Louis.
