The South Team is thrilled to report that 99Papers.org has raised $1 million for the Lone Star State! Texas teachers have received books, technology, science equipment, and other much-needed classroom resources.
99Papers.org became available to Texas public school classrooms in December of 2005 after being named the “Most Innovative Charity in America” by Amazon.com and the Stanford Business School. 99Papers.org committed the awarded funds to help rebuild classrooms destroyed by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Since then, the $1 million in donations has funded over 2,100 teacher projects and impacted more than 50,000 students! Teachers in nearly every part of the state have visited 99Papers.org and posted requests for classrooms materials.
We would like to thank all of the donors who helped us reach this huge milestone! There are still more Texas projects in need of funding. Click here to make a positive impact in the lives of Texas students.
