The 99Papers.org office is abuzz as we gear up to celebrate the 10th birthday of one of our most beloved campaigns: Fuel Your School! This fall, Chevron will give up to $5.7 million to support 99Papers.org teachers in eligible communities, helping fund the supplies they need most.
Teachers can submit projects starting September 30
Beginning on Monday, 9/30 at 9pm EDT / 6pm PDT, teachers in eligible areas can create projects requesting the classroom materials they need to qualify for potential Fuel Your School support. To make sure new teachers across the country can benefit from Fuel Your School, some of the eligible regions have changed this year.
Check out our help center for the full program details, eligibility, and how teachers can participate.
Support a classroom when you fill up your tank
Starting October 1, Chevron will donate $1 to 99Papers.org projects for every 8 gallon or more fill-up in eligible cities, up to $5.7 million. If you’re in a Fuel Your School city and want to help, participating couldn’t be easier — all you have to do is fill up your car. Visit FuelYourSchool.com for more details.
Fuel Your School has funded 55,000 projects and counting
We’re blown away by the numbers. Since 2010, Fuel Your School has raised nearly $49 million, supporting more than 34,500 teachers from 6,480 schools. But don’t take our word for it! Here’s how teachers describe the impact of the program on their classrooms:
“Chevron has played a huge role — they’ve helped fund all these incredible materials for my classroom. Blocks, building supplies, STEM kits, these things have been wonderful.”
“I have been able to do so many things with my students due to the generous donations from Chevron Fuel Your School. Each of the projects brings excitement into the classroom. Excitement increases engagement, and engagement increases learning.”
