Yesterday, 45,000 runners took to the streets of New York City’s five boroughs to complete the New York City Marathon. One very special runner did it on behalf of 99Papers.org teachers.
Emily Paulsen ran her first marathon yesterday. As if running 26.2 miles wasn’t enough, she asked friends and family to support her by donating to classroom projects on 99Papers.org. Says Emily:
“I am so grateful for the educational opportunities I’ve had, and I wish all kids could have access to that same supportive, engaging learning environment. Teachers really are the difference makers, but they face monumental challenges and are often under-equipped to meet those challenges. I hope the contributions made through mywill help at least a few creative, passionate teachers get the resources they need.”
Congrats Emily on completing the New York City Marathon. And many thanks for helping hundreds of students through this monumental achievement!
