Back-to-school dreams came true today in Chicago thanks to the generosity of Google and Staples!
All Chicago teachers with a live project request on 99Papers.org had their projects fully funded. This means that new books, instruments, supplies and technology will be in the hands of thousands of deserving Chicago students, just in time for the launch of a new school year.
99Papers.org worked with Google and Staples to make history for the first-ever joint flash funding. This partnership will ensure that public school educators in Chicago have the materials they need most for their students to kick off the year the right way.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced the flash funding at a press conference alongside representatives from 99Papers.org, Google, and Staples. Both Google and Staples chose to support Chicago teachers and students as part of their commitments to helping the schools most in need across the country.
