Kansas City was just #flashfunded!

Today Google and joined together to surprise Kansas City teachers with the news that Google funded ALL projects in Cass, Clay, Franklin, Jackson, Lafayette, Linn and Platte Counties in Missouri and Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas!

To kick-off the surprise, Googlers delivered a range of awesome materials like engaging comic books and hands-on science activities to teachers at Garfield Elementary School.

Over 150 teachers in the greater Kansas City area will receive their materials in the coming weeks for over 13,800 students.

Altogether, Google donated more than $190,000, funding classroom projects. What a great way to say “Happy back to school!” to our greater Kansas City teachers.

To wish a teacher in your own area a happy back to school, visit and search for projects in your zip code.
