Update 8/14/19: Funds for the boost have been fully spent out, but there are still plenty of teachers who need your support!
Back-to-school season just got even better!
On August 13th, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 99Papers.org are teaming up to give teachers and students a major back-to-school boost! For one day only, all donations to classroom projects will receive a 50% boost. (For example, a $20 donation will become a $30 donation, a $100 donation will become a $150 donation, and so on.) This is great news not just for our deserving teachers, but also everyone looking for the perfect moment to support a classroom.
Every donation creates a real impact on teachers and students daily lives in the classroom, just like it did for Ms. Erdelyi during last year’s event:
My students and I are thrilled to be able to have these puzzles and games to allow them not only stress relief and emotional management but some fun during “free time” as well. We have already used them to get to know our new classmates, reconnect with old friends from last year, and forge new bonds with new staff members and teachers within the Special Education program/department.
– Ms. Erdelyi | Grades 9-12 | Tahoe City, CA | August 2018
Right now, teachers across the country are busy preparing to hit the ground running with their incoming students. They’re requesting the exact items they need to guide their students to success. With this boost, donors can let them know they’re supported — and make their donation go even further!
