U.S. Cellular is Calling All Teachers to Take Action

During the 2014 back-to-school season, U.S. Cellular will give $1,000,000 to classroom project requests submitted on 99Papers.org by teachers in U.S. Cellular’s markets. Any full-time public or charter school teacher in these areas is eligible to participate.

To be considered for funding, start at www.99papers.com/teachers and follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you’re affiliated as a U.S. Cellular teacher on the 99Papers.org website. When you complete the teacher registration process, check the box next to “U.S. Cellular Teacher” on the Teaching Details page. If you’ve already registered on 99Papers.org, log in to your account and scroll halfway down the page to modify your Teacher Affiliations.
  2. Submit a project between August 11 and September 21. Only projects submitted during this time frame will be considered for funding. The project must have a total cost of $1,000 or less including all fees and the optional donation to 99Papers.org (so the total cost of the classroom materials you request can be about $750). U.S. Cellular may not be able to fund all teachers who submit a qualifying project; they plan to fund one project per teacher so that funds are distributed as widely as possible.
  3. U.S. Cellular will fund projects in October. If your project is funded, you’ll receive an email from 99Papers.org letting you know. Follow the directions in that email to receive your materials and complete any follow up steps.

U.S. Cellular’s Calling All Teachers program is available in California (Northern), Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
