We are thrilled to announce that 99Papers.org has been invited to participate in the Starbucks Community Card: Vote.Give.Grow. program in recognition of our effectiveness in helping communities thrive.
The campaign launches today and provides Starbucks customers the opportunity to direct a $4 million investment from the Starbucks Foundation to local non-profits across the country.
“Our mission at 99Papers is to improve public education by empowering every teacher to be a change-maker and enabling any citizen to be a philanthropist,” said Charles Best, founder of 99Papers.org. “We are thrilled that, together with Starbucks, we can provide this action opportunity to tens of thousands of teachers and citizens.”
In each of 61 markets across the U.S, four non profits will be in the running to receive up to $35,000. Now we need your help and your votes! Vote for 99Papers.org and we’ll use funds generated to directly support classrooms in your community!
How you can help:
- Are you a Starbucks Card Reward member? If so, go to step 2. If not, you can still participate by going to Starbucks and purchasing a $5 Starbucks card (good for $5 of Starbucks treats!)
- Make sure you’ve activated your card (follow the printed instructions), then go to http://www.votegivegrow.com/ and sign in
- Vote for 99Papers.org each week in April
The more votes we receive in your region, the more local classrooms Starbucks will support. So vote weekly and spread the word!
We’re excited to kick off this exciting campaign and bring classroom projects to life with your votes!
